Robert is a passionate and warm practitioner who has an extensive knowledge of integrative and functional natural medicine. He is down to earth and has an interest in organic foods, gardening and sustainable living. With over a decade of experience, he is renowned for being very thorough by both fellow practitioners and patients alike. He has a clinical focus on working with people who are experiencing fertility, IVF, pregnancy and women's health related concerns. He graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Chinese Medicine, in both acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, with the highest honours. He completed his clinical internship in Gynaecology at Shanghai’s famous Shu Guang Hospital, as well as Oncology, Internal Medicine, and Acupuncture departments.

Robert is the recipient of the Victoria University Dean’s Scholar award for the faculty of health, science and engineering and the University Medal of Academic Excellence for academic achievements in Chinese Medicine. He was awarded the Sun Ten award for Chinese Medicine in 2009. Robert was also awarded the Highly Commended Award for the Category of ATMS Natural Medicine Practitioner of the Year Award 2019.

Robert is registered with the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia (CMBA) and is a member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA). He is also an active member of the Fertility Society of Australia (FSA). Robert has gone on to complete further study in Traditional Japanese Acupuncture, Functional Medicine, and Natural Fertility & IVF Support. Robert is the Clinical Director of Essendon Natural Health and leads a passionate team of highly trained natural medicine practitioners.

Initial Acupuncture & Natural Medicine Consultation $135.00 (One Hour)

Follow Up Acupuncture & Natural Medicine Consultation $100.00 (One Hour)

Herbal medicine and supplements are an extra cost. These are always discussed with you prior to dispensing. HICAPS in available onsite for instant private health rebates and concession is available for students and pension card holders. Blood tests and semen analysis ordered by Robert are not covered by Medicare but if required will be discussed prior to referral.
